Biocompatibility depends on how fillers are stabilized. The scientists working on Neauvia fillers decided to apply not a common molecule, but a new crosslinker: PEG polymer.

Polyethylene glycol is a gold standard of a biocompatible polymer for pharmaceutical, cosmetic and medical use.


Optimal rheological ratio

Neauvia has an optimal rheological ratio: soft gel for superficial injection layers and stiffer gel for deep injection layers.

Thanks to PEG features and to a precise technique of determining the molecular weight of HA, Neauvia fillers have an optimal rheological ratio.


Optimal tissue biointegration

Morphological evidences have demonstrated that Neauvia fillers have a great biointegration.

Our research team have published several papers on the evolution over time of Neauvia implant showing how Neauvia fillers have an optimal distribution and integration in the connective tissue of the skin.

Neauvia fillers distribute finely in the interstitial tissue among constitutive structures of the hypodermis and dermis, even into the smallest spaces between collagen fibers, always preserving the structural integrity of the skin.

Moreover, our research team have demonstrated both in vitro and in vivo the absence of any adverse reaction.

Inflammatory cells surrounding the implant or closely associated with it have never been found.

The common histological stain (H&E) is showing the filler implant (light blue) perfectly integrated in the connective tissue with collagen fibers, adipose tissue and ducts of sweat glands. NO immunoreactions are present.

The implant is clearly in the Alcian blue stained preparation. It appears finely distributed in the interstitial tissue, closely associated with dermis and hypodermis structures as gland ducts (encircled) and collagen fibres.
